⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sam and Alisha had a fantastic dinner at Thai Chaiyo! We started with the chicken spring rolls and prawn skewers with satay sauce—both entrees were absolutely delicious, perfectly flavoured, and beautifully presented. The staff were warm, welcoming, and served everything with a big smile, which made the experience even better. For mains, we had the Pad Khing (a sweet ginger stir-fry with vegetables in a special sauce) alongside steamed rice. Everything was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. If you're looking for tasty Thai food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere, Thai Chaiyo on Hewish Road in Croydon is a must-visit!
I recently visited Thai Chaiyo Croydon and had a wonderful dining experience. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, with traditional Thai decor and soft lighting that created a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, offering recommendations and making sure we were comfortable throughout the meal. We started with the Tom Yum soup, which was bursting with flavor—spicy, sour, and perfectly balanced. For the main course, I had the Pad Thai with Prawn, which was delicious and cooked just right. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was beautiful.

Sorry the food is so nice that I have to share with you a picture of an empty plate. The restaurant has a good ambience and the crockeries they used are very presentable. Really spent enough time and money to do the place up. Food wise, they are not a true Thai restaurant that you will have in Bangkok because they have to suit local taste with lesser true ingredients. But it is what it is. I would definitely take another 30min drive to come back again because everything adds up.
We have been trying for couple of months now to eat at this restaurant, they are only open for dinner; and finally booked a table out of curiosity to see why they were always full up. It is not a big place but setting is cosy yet apart enough from next table for privacy. When our food came to our table, we were impressed with the presentation and quantity of each dish. The taste was exceptional, tantalising with rich Thai spice flavours. Service was with a smile, courteous and polite. Will be back for more

My favourite local Thai place in the East! Really friendly staff, reasonably priced and a lot of Vegetarian options! They’re also very accommodating to dietary requirements and can change some meat dishes to be vegetarian.
